Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the MusicGPT AI web application and related services operated by MusicGPT AI (the “Application”). MusicGPT AI is the “Service Provider”.
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This may include your device's Internet Protocol address; the pages you visit; the date, time, and duration of visits; the time spent on the Application; and the operating system you use.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact friends@musicgpt-ai.com.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Contact the Service Provider to exercise these rights.
Artificial Intelligence
The Application uses Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance user experience and provide certain features. AI components may process user data to deliver personalized content, recommendations, or automated functionalities. All AI processing is performed in accordance with this policy and applicable laws. The Service Provider may also use information you provide for important information, required notices, and, where permitted by law, marketing communications.
Personal information
For a better experience, the Service Provider may require personally identifiable information including Email and UserId. Requested information is retained and used as described in this policy.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help improve the Application and service. The Service Provider may share information with third parties as described in this policy.
International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or third-party service providers may transfer personal data outside your country of residence, including outside the EEA. Where safeguards are required, the Service Provider will use Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms, or your consent where legally permitted. Data protection laws elsewhere may differ; appropriate safeguards and any required consent will be used.
Third-party services
Disclosure
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information when required by law; when disclosure is needed in good faith to protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; and with trusted service providers that work on its behalf, have no independent use of disclosed information, and agree to this policy.
You can stop further collection from your device by ceasing to use the website. This does not automatically delete information already transmitted. To request deletion, withdraw consent, or exercise rights, contact the Service Provider.
Data Retention Policy
- User Provided Data: for the duration of use plus 12 months, unless longer retention is required by law.
- Automatically Collected Data: up to 24 months, unless longer retention is required for legal compliance.
- Aggregated and Anonymized Data: indefinitely, as it no longer identifies you.
- Data required for legal compliance: as long as applicable law requires.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 16, or a higher age required by applicable law. Where parental or guardian consent is required, it is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of law and will delete it if discovered. Parents or guardians may contact the Service Provider.
Security and Data Breach Notification
The Service Provider uses physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information it processes and maintains. If a breach affects personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Changes and Consent
The Service Provider may update this policy. Material changes will be posted with an effective date and, where required, consent will be sought before they take effect. Previous versions are available on request. Where processing is based on consent, you give it by affirmatively opting in and may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
